Prayer Ministry

Prayer is a very important key to your spiritual life. Prayer is praise, thanksgiving, adoration, intercession, supplication, petition and much more. It is taking the needs of our heart to God and listening to God. It is communion with God the Father through Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit who enables us to talk to the Father as God’s children.

“True prayer should pour out the whole soul and every inward feeling before him.” – John Calvin

We recognize that any and all things our church wants to accomplish must be bathed in prayer (John 15:4-8). We want to see God move, but know we cannot do this in our own power.

We would be honored to serve you with prayer!

Prayer after the Worship Service:

Our church prayer team will be available after every service to meet in person for a brief time of prayer. Their role is to encourage you and pray to God with you for any kind of need.

Thursday time for Prayer:

Join us for 30 minutes of prayer every Thursday for our church, our communities, and our nation’s concerns. We currently meet via Zoom from 1:00-1:30. Contact Pastor Peter at ptangatue@gmail.com for the link.

Meet with our pastor or a prayer team member for private prayer:

Contact Pastor Peter to arrange a private meeting at a day and time that works.

Silent retreats:

In this busy world, it is important to set aside extended times of silence and solitude to better hear God’s voice. Unplug from technology and do what Jesus did: come away and learn the unforced rhythms of grace. We will put our full focus on Christ for a few hours at our church campus. Retreats are normally held three times a year. Check out our calendar for dates and times.

Access to our Church Prayer Room:

We have a designated prayer room on our church campus for use by individuals or families for intentional and focused prayer. Please call our church for prayer room hours.

Share a Prayer Request:

Please enter your prayer request below. These prayer requests will be shared with our pastor and prayer team. Church members who desire their requests to be placed on our weekly prayer list may contact our church office at (626) 858-5288.
